What We Do
Initially WKRP was a focal point for all Tainui - Waikato living in Wellington. Today, many whanau have developed special interest groups focusing on the hapu or whanau or relating to specific kaupapa such as kapa haka.
WKRP is a charitable organisation, partially funded by Tainui, under the Kingitanga supporting the various Tainui - Waikato ropu in the region by delivering or assisting in the development, maintenance and enhancement of our Tainuitanga, of relationships with tangata whenua, of the welfare of our members and of our financial position.
